Thanks Tom, I was on the fence debating with myself is it pintle or pindle. lol. I just remember that when I was in the AF we used to get in trouble for not putting the pin back in the pintle hook when not in use. KH

Pintle. It is a Middle English word meaning "penis", its use in trailers goes back to the age of cannon and gun carriages.
