When I saw the pindle hook I instantly thought it was military. KH Did I spell pindle right? KH

Kevin, how was LCIR today? Any word on whether they are really shutting it down after this weekend?

Jerry

Thanks Tom, I was on the fence debating with myself is it pintle or pindle. lol. I just remember that when I was in the AF we used to get in trouble for not putting the pin back in the pintle hook when not in use. KH

Pictures or a link will be forthcoming, I will start a new thread for this. KH

Kevin in San Diego did pass the time by typing:

They make a real racket if you don't put that pin in. :)

Pintle. It is a Middle English word meaning "penis", its use in trailers goes back to the age of cannon and gun carriages.

I dont think there is anything that has more names for it than a penis. There have to be a million of them. KH
