having to double clutching on an 04 Wrangler X

I drive an 04 Wrangler X, and it has 33' inch tires, and the problemthat I am having, is that when I shift from first to second, I have todouble clutch or else I will feel a terrible grinding. It is reallyannoying, and I worry that it is a sign that something is wrong.However, double clutching solves the problem, but it is just annoyingto have to double cluth all the time, because it makes me even slowerthan my Jeep already is, and it takes a fair amount of effort after awhile. Can someone explain to me what might be causing this?
