how do i test 4wd - 92 jeep YJ

i have a 92 jeep wrangler. the front axle is permanently locked with a perm-lok. i have a feeling that 4wd is not working. how can i test

4wd in my driveway or garage? i usually test by going up a snowy hill in my yard, but right now i have no snow.

Put it in 4low. On the concrete, you'll know if its working.
