The transmission changes from AX-15 to NV3500 at 2000? I would guess the old Ramber four liter engine, injection, and sensors are pretty much the same from about '93 up. God Bless America, ßill O|||||||O mailto:

97 tj wrangler .manual..........need to find an engine for it
If the donor vehicle has a manual transmission, you should be OK if you are just going to swap the motor. If the donor vehicle is an auto, you'll need to replace the flexplate with a flywheel. Some folks have swapped in the XJ
