Hello, I am need to locate the "fusible link" on my 1993 Jeep Cherokee Country. I have looked thru the manual of repair I have here and it does not give me the location for earlier(than 96) models. Any help would be most appreciated.

Follow the positive battery cable. Where it stops at a bolt connection is where the fuse links hook up. The fuse links are a loop end and about 8" of wire with a fat rubber tube crimp connector where they hook to the harness.
I think they all are off the power distribution box close to the battery, but some makes have them off the starter solenoid.
You can get fuse link wire in bulk, it is sold either by the color or gauge and you have to use the same length with crimp connectors. Solder won't work on them.

On the 88's they were connected to the starter solenoid, or that's what my pdf file shows
