I was reading an article on a web page that mentioned the carb's metering rod can be adjusted differently to accommendate high altitude operation. I'm planning to rebuild my Carter 1BBl because it needs a new needle and seat after the new (never had before) fuel/vapor return line was installed to the tank. Anyone ever heard of this?
