lol! oh yes, once again mike knows more about what happens from behind his computer screen. you and earle are quite the pair! :-)

You are too much man....

If you are smokin' out the freakin' brakes, you are in the wrong gear!

That works for 'both' an automatic and a standard.

If you hit the hill at 90 and now can't downshift without exploding something, you are a freakin' idiot.

you are one ignorant f*ck mike....sitting behind your computer trying to give advice on yet another topic where you are painfully clueless. when youre already in 1st. gear and the vehicle is overpowering both the tranny and the brakes there isnt much more you can do but clinch your asshole real tight and hang on until you reach the bottom of the hill.

I just went and read the post Nathan. Calling you an idiot is doing real idiots a dis-service.

Only one thing I can say. Have you read the Darwin Awards page?

Mike.

IIRC Nathan, it wasn't a situation where you told the wife, "We're moving to Montana because I say so...."

Did you ever actually tell your wife you bought the Vette, or does she still think you were only thinking about buying it? Is ts still in your brother's barn?

whats the point?

nah, brought it home, had fun with it, then sold it for a lot more than i paid for it. whats your point? you arent really trying to compare hiding a purchase from the wifey for a little while with crying about how the wifey is making you sell your jeep, are you?

lol.....more loose and empty bullshit from mike. you couldnt respond to my already being in 1st. gear because that shows you to be the FOOL, so instead you just throw loose insults in a rather pitiful attempt at proving something. for someone who loves to post the group charter and give others s*it for off topic postings you sure are a HYPOCRITE.

That you sometimes do you wife's bidding, no matter what.

I have a lot more respect for my wife then, I wouldn't buy a car and then lie to her about it.

I'm not selling my TJ, you missed the inflection of the post.

certainly, as would anyone. its isnt the same thing as letting someone dictate what youre "allowed" to own.

lol.....i know.....from the sounds of it you would wait until you got her permission. :-)

and you missed the spirit of mine.

The trick is to let them think you are getting their permission.

...or maybe the truck you rented wasnt a total piece of s*it.

We're a tag team! But seriously, the Ryder we rented from Fort Collins to Grand Junction had no trouble with the down grades on I-70. But maybe the mountains are steeper in Montana, than in Colorado. ;^)

When the automatic was mentioned, I thought it was talking about Jeeps, Not your total incompetence or your bid to win a Darwin Award.

Should have known better, not much refers to Jeeps in any thread involving you.

You 'do' deserve an honorable mention in the Darwin Awards page Nathan. Seriously. You almost took out yourself and at the same time your offspring so the genetic line would have stopped.

You rent a truck, you overload it with everything you own, you find out it has a bad engine and 'no' brakes and yet you and your kid go merrily on your way across the country going way too fast and 'clinching your asshole' down the grades. (legally you had no brakes if you can't stop the truck in 1st gear, that also leads to going too fast for the equipment too.)

There are no words to describe you. A sane person would have turned back to the nearest town with a rental outlet and camped in their parking lot until a replacement truck showed up.

I now know why I ignored your posts and like to call your BS. You are a waste of bandwidth Nathan.

youre right earle....it isnt you buddy. your entire neighborhood who sued you, your entire nursing school staff, and everyone at your volunteer ambulance service were ALL the "bad guys". everywhere you go it seems, everyone you meet conspires against you. its only coincidence that the only common denominator is YOU. the problem couldnt possibly lie within you now, could it? no way. all those mean nurses on the message boards and usenet who draw the same conclusions of you that i do, i guess theyre all the "bad guys" too. it must be hell to have the whole world conspire against you like that. :-)

from YOUR link: "The Board determined that its investigation discloses an instance of misconduct that DOES NOT WARRANT FORMAL ACTION"

lol.....looks like you save the world earle! he helped patients who refused service....lol.....the way you went on and on about it sounded like you actually accomplished something. i guess the conpiracy hunter bagged a big one on this! lol.

lol.....more conspiracy against you. :-)

......if whatever happened is so bad, why is it that you cant find any support on this issue from nurses in the nursing forums?

BOTTOM LINE --> you flunked out of nursing school so you look for fault in other nurses who DID actually succeed. the links i provided in my last post have nurses making that same statement. you volunteer to ride an ambulance and use this as an opportunity to find fault in those nurses. you make a big stink over nothing, and now you cant even volunteer anymore because everyone knows exactly what youre all about now.. :-)

Back on topic... I saw a KJ Unlimited today driving toward Ann Arbor, it was a dark maroon, but I only got a passing glance since it was going in the opposite direction. First thing I noticed is it is definitely recognizable as a Wrangler. Too bad I didn't have a camera.

kj unlimited? a typo or am i that uninformed?

Cheers.

Earle

Oops again, should've read "JK." I'll have a difficult time talking about Jeeps without a "j" as the second letter of the factory designator.

cool. id like to see one before all of the '06s are gone. as you may remember the wifey got t-boned

and wants a new jeep. she likes the unlimited rubicon, but wants to see the '07 before making up her mind.
