I can recommend the Michelin LTX MS. I've been running with them on my Wrangler TJ for the past 3 years. They were a definite improvement in road safety and noise over the stock Goodyear tires. Matt

He wants a good snow tire - the LTX does not meet that requirement. They are a very fine riding tire on the highway, but they don't grip very well when it's slick. They have much too hard a rubber compund for low winter temperatures. I threw mine in trash after sliding around in a little bitty layer of snow.

Not me! When I die, I want to go quietly, in my sleep, like my Grandpa did, not kicking and screaming like the *other* passengers in his car... :-)
