The approach angle modification has really paid off but my departure angle may be of some concern at this point.

Thanks Herb,

It's been a long, expensive process to achieve the "Can't believe it's 300k jeep" status. This is what it looked like when I started.

photo is very flattering - as ugly as it is. This is some of the progress along the way.

haven't updated the site in a long time because I found I was spending toomuch time on the site and not enough on the Jeep. I had the interview almost a month ago for the job I applied for almost a year and a half ago. Some extenuating circumstances have prolonged the process (promoted from within for a Hamilton job, hiring freeze for a London job, restructured the London operation to Sarnia, see how the Sarnia operation works out, seasonal slowdown in Sarnia and that brings us to now).

I know I aced the interview despite not having any voice the day before and very strained speech the day of and I have one thing on my side. An impromptu get together about a year ago after which one of the decision makers said to my 'inside guy' "unless someone comes in here that can walk on water, the job is his".

I can afford to be patient, although I don't enjoy the BS where I'm working now it's still a good gig and pays well. The new job however pays almost 40% more while working one less day a week with full pension and benefits. It's a giant carrot on the end of a shortening stick.
