2002 kia rio sedan warm startup issues

It cranks and starts. Then when you shut it off (no matter how long you run it). It wont start up or its cranks slowly for at least 35 mins then it will crank and start up.

So if you run into a quikmart or get gas for a few mins and shut it off, it wont start up until around 35 mins later.

What's the issue? Does it crank and not start? Does it crank slowly? > Does it not crank at all? > > The list of repairs in the original post appear to address more than > one concern. >

This problem is quite common in imported cars. Changing the spark plugs for platinum tipped plugs will make the problem go away immediately and forever.

Itchy,

This guy was talking about a Kia. He has a car. C-A-R. CAR. What works for your ryobi powered scooter doesn't necessarily apply to a real mode of transportation such as a CAR(see above).

Chris

sounds like a fuel pressure issue, most probably fuel pressure regulator.
