2003Rio

I have a 2001 - it was one of the first to come to the USA (no power steering, no radio, no a/c). It has 86,000 miles and still doesn't use any oil (I change it every 5,000 miles with the cheapest oil I can find !) and the only mechanical problems I've had is a tuneup at 64,000 and the alternator was replaced at 82,000 . The windshield wipers (with other Kia's too) will pop out of the 'spider gear' (????) when the load against it becomes too great. A piece of molding came off of the driver's side A pillar which I could fix easily enough with some epoxy. We also have a '98 Sportage with 80,000+ miles on it and only recently needed a tuneup. Our next vehicle will be a Sorento unless something changes; we have had good luck with Kia's . . .

Nice price. Just make SURE you are will be the second owner or the warranty won't transfer. Even then , only the original owner gets the 10yr warranty - you'll be stuck with only 4 more years(out of 5), which is still pretty good - at least equal to what Ford and GM offer.

Me? At that price, I'd see if they would sell me an extended warranty and drive it until the wheels fall off. :)
