I have a Carens (old version) and I am extremely happy with it. But you will not find on the manual anything worth reading, nothing you would not understand by yourself. Franz Energia Nucleare ??? No, Grappa !!!

Hello Franz, PLs tell me in this case if it is possible to fold (take out from the car) the middle row seats. THe last row (I have Carens for 6 persons) I have just taken out in order to have big space in the back but when I am in need to transport very big objects I must have also space instead of middle row. AS far as I can see there is possibility to screw out these seats but together with rails. Maybe you know easier way. THanks in advance for reply, Best regards, Jerry

Jerry, I'm sorry I can't help you. My Carens is a 5 seats version (the only version imported here in Italy). No third row of seats in my one and most likely a different design for the rear seats (3 in my case). On my Carens the backseat's back is divided in two sections, one for one seat and one for the other two seats. These sections can be folded down separately or together, creating enough space for anything that does not need a forwarder to be moved.... What about asking your dealer or your national Kia rep about your problem? Best wishes for your search! Franz

To my knowledge no they cannot be removed without unbolting them from the chassis. I've got my manual somewhere but I can't lay my hands on it atm.

You mean the "owner's manual" ? It's useless. Not because badly written, but because there is nothing in it you can't figure out by yourself...... Franz
