If anyone has a UK Kia Pride LX, is 2500RPM too high for cold starts? The revs do go to down to 750RPM after 10 mins or so but should the engine rev as high at cold starts?

2000 to 2500 is normal if the temp is under 30 degrees F. To help a bit quilken the warm up process, their is a gas additive called Prestone Cold Start. Try a bottle, usually cost $2-$3 american dollars.
