Not being one to ask for trouble, I'll thank you to keep this away from the other half Martyn! A number of years ago, I seem to remember a giant
8 wheel drive "Argocat" type vehicle called and Esarco or some thing like that. It was based on two landrover drive trains with front and rear axles steering IIRC. couple of points occur to my thought: (don't necessarily expect you to know the answers, mind)
1) is the second (rear) transfer box standard, and if so, where do you get a left-handed one, or is it a re-working of a standard one?2) the 2nd and 4th axles appear to be running backwards, do they have problems with lubrication, or are they modified?
There is a picture of the transmission in the brochure that I have partially scanned.

If you have anydetailed questions from that I'll try and answer them. UnfortunatelyI don't have a digital camera. I've forgotten to bring in any more pictures too - a chap came to look at it this morning which didn't leave me a lot of time. I'll try again tomorrow.
If whoever (sorry I've lost the associations) really wanted a look underneath wants to get in contact with me I'm sure it can be arranged. Right arm not required!
