Car tax (road fund licence) - likely to get 'done'?

Ah, sorry Dave. AFAIK you can leave it up to the point when you are 14 days from the beginning of the next month. So in a 30 day month you should be able to go into the local post office on the 16th and still get a tax disc to run from the first of the month that you're already in.

Usual disclaimers apply, of course.

might've changed. You used to be able to get "this month's" tax disc up until the end of the month, providing they'd not run out of 'em.
