My old k reg dissy, gives a real clonk if you go round a roundabout and then straighten up. It appears to make the floor knock, in other owrds you can feel it as well as hear it. It seems to be similar both sides if you turn left or right. Theres some take up on the drive assy when you pull away, but not what i would consider to be excessive. It kind of sounds like a cv joint taking up. But its only one clonk, on each direction change. And only appears to be on full or near full lock.
