The subject line prety much spells it out. I'm having a discussion with a buddy about the need for premium gas in this beast. And CR is a factor.Anybody know the answer?
Thanks! Red

If you know the engine number, this page should help.
Don't know about '94 but my '97 has a knock sensor. If you drive conservatively I believe regular gas can be used safely. No lugging the motor up hills in too high a gear and no full throttle, high rpm work. If it starts knocking the sensor retards the ignition to try to eliminate this. It can only go so far though and it is still possible to get knocking if the engine is lugged. You will hear it.
That's! That site should nail it down for me!

CR data should be printed just above engine number on engine block.
