Yes, but the cabin layout is similar and relevant. Even holding hands is problematic in a D2/RR. Going "all the way" as we used to call it would be nigh impossible unless you were towing a caravan.

I got called out to a RR that 'had a broken gearbox' a couple of years ago. It turns out that in all the drunken nocturnal gymnastics after a night at the pub the owner had managed to knock the transfer box into neutral.
