any ideas where I can get a drivers side wing mirror glass for a T reg series 2 disco - with a heating element?
any good scrap yards? I am near Northampton

Mirror glass, heated, 1995 on, RH CRD100640
Might as well buy a new one from a dealer, they're only £14 and you're guaranteed that the heating element will work.
