I think I have a bag of copper washers here somewhere, probably in the back of the LR, unless the nice fella at beamends wants to throw a couple in eh? eh? ;o)

I've a nice solid one on mine which I made meself, and which gets annealed[1] before refitting.
also, my sump plug (now) has a whitworth size head. This is about 1mm less across flats than the original size, but it's a size for which there's a bloody great ring spanner about the place, rather than a size (1.1/8", I think) which I have bugger-all that fits.
[1] heat to bright red with a suitable torch, quench in cold water.
