I think you will find a standard Defender would do that at tickover...without even a driver :-)

It's mostly down to difflocks and correct tyres. And low enough gearing. If you could get the grip the minibus would climb that sort of slope, mind, it'd have trouble with the angles due to overhangs and the long wheelbase.

I thought it was a troll simply 'cos my Disco's been up steeper and longer hillocks than that, without breaking anything ... if it did break. In fact the clip was boring IMHO, nothing impressive at all.

And why would an axle "brake" just going up a little hill. Half shaft or prop shaft maybe (if it was about to fail anyway) but axle?

Quite. Iignoring the missused word I was expecting a video of something crossing a deep ditch that required each wheel in turn to be hanging in mid air, done at speed rather tha crawling.

Welll quite, I ignored the speeling mistook, that's irrelevant really though it _is_ something many trolls add in too.

... or a 3' vert drop, BMX stylee ... or a ramp taken at 40+ ... or a rollover, or anything other than a gentle slope at a crawl, though that could, given enough grip, cause issues with metalwork ... ;)

It would need the right tyres though...
