First bit of armour has arrived ;-) OT (ish)

Just been to see the armourer and he's let bring a bit home ;-) Rest will be here on Tuesday.....it looks well neat. I'm off to terrorize the populace...!

It's made by Mark Taylor from Dressed to Kill. He's based in Moulton, Northamptonshire. AFAIK he does the armour for Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace etc etc.

I've always thought there is a market for people to recreate jousting, imagine it two people in pilot buggies driving along at each other with and big lances..........or people in armour hitting each other with swords - great way to settle your differences.

The bit I've not figured is how to give people the fun of bashing each other and still be able to get public liability insurance, or so the don't get hurt.

And we just won't talk about Rat on a Stick.
