That is superb. Lovely bit of craftmanship. I can tell from the picture!
What a sexy piece of kit!
Lizzy
Very nice. I wonder if that'd be legal as a motorbike helmet.
Wait till the rest arrives! 10 Years ago - I wore this one :
Looks very efficient, could do with this for the road lawyers that seem to be popping into my path more often now :-))
That's what I thought - give me a can of 1664 any day!
Graeme
p.s. can you drink beer whilst wearing it?????
Greame,
Of course you can drink while wearing it - the front flips up ;-)
Ah cool - I figured getting a straw through the visor slot could be tricky
Peter,
It's made by Mark Taylor from Dressed to Kill. He's based in Moulton, Northamptonshire. AFAIK he does the armour for Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace etc etc.
The tourists must be right stroppy there then!
Steve. Suffolk. remove 'knujon' to e-mail
What's it made of?
Don't quote me, as the info is at home, but I think it's 1.6mm steel.
Stainless I hope ;-)
Either way, how kin much is the whole suit going to weigh???
Ask me on Tuesday ;-)
I've always thought there is a market for people to recreate jousting, imagine it two people in pilot buggies driving along at each other with and big lances..........or people in armour hitting each other with swords - great way to settle your differences.
The bit I've not figured is how to give people the fun of bashing each other and still be able to get public liability insurance, or so the don't get hurt.
And we just won't talk about Rat on a Stick.
Sarah
Hehehe...
Getting the rest tonight ;-)
