51 KG 69 Military Police Landrover 90 GS Diesel FFR Hard Top LHD

Served in the 1st Gulf War and Bosnia with The Military Police - Full History Printout Included. Since being demobbed from the Army she's been used, by surveyors, on a large construction project and has not been registered for the road. Date of construction is certified as 1987, Out of service in September 2001 with paperwork to prove this. I bought this Land Rover with good intentions of doing her up and using her for military shows etc, most of the major items have been done including new rear shocks, new front headlights a coat of NATO green and all the correct signs and labels and other items too numerous to mention. A full set of pioneer tools are also on the vehicle and included in the auction.

I just don't have the time to complete the project.

Good Points

a.. Chassis is 100% solid with no apparent welding or rust b.. Door pillars and under the screen, again 100% solid with no sign of rust or previous welding c.. Good 2.5 NA diesel engine and box. Runs well, a little smoky on start up. d.. although she's a FFR vehicle electrics are 12volt e.. Swivels are A1 with no pitting or scoring f.. New exhaust, needs a bracket. g.. Recent Service Filters ETC h.. Speedo indicates she has done 128000Km or 79000 Miles i.. Military tow hitch and jate rings fitted. j.. Four as new, military pattern tyres, not remoulds (to fit) Bad Points - I have tried to be honest.

As far as I know she will need a couple of items for the MOT

a.. Rear Trailing arm bushes. b.. Hand Brake adjustment, I believe the shoes are OK. The Body work is not pristine she has a few battle scars, but nothing more than you would expect for a vehicle of this type and age. Military 100ahc alternator, and rear battery box has been removed.

The paperwork for registering her will be included. I have the dating form and the MOD paperwork to ensure she gets an age related number plate. You will be the first owner on the log book.

You will need to have her MOT'ed and turn up at you local DVLC office with the MOT the paperwork I will supply, your insurance docs and enough money to pay the £25 .00 DVLC fee and for Road tax. They will issue a log book and a registration number. "Simple!" She is sold as seen.
