help my disco is making very nasty crunch noises from the back end espestally on full lock, but alsop on the straight, also soft high piched wine. Does the disco have a half shaft? Lost in Spain Martin

Sounds like it could be a broken diff. You could drain the oil and see if any nasty bits come out with it. Also the colour will give you an idea of whats going on. Need to get this checked ASAP as if it sizes up you'r in big trouble! Had the rear diff size on a LWB 2A at only 40mph... good job it had washable vinal seats! Toby
