sigh....If you're gonna get run over...you're gonna get injured whether it be a 4x4 or a normal car. a 4x4 driver is more likely to spot the idiot pedestrian who walks in the road than a normal driver thanks to the commanding driving height. And if you do get run over....look where you're going!!
And all these people who complain that they take too much road up, the Mercedes S class is a whole centimetre longer than the Range Rover....so there!!!
