Leaking fuel injector pump

I have this 110" with a 2.5 D. Recently it started to leak diesel from the fuel injection pump. I found out because it is dripping when I park it after driving. I can imagine it takes place on the high pressure side and continues until the pressure is reduced, then it stops. I can't really see where it is leaking. It is definitely not where the pipes are connected, because the housing is wet after driving. I gather that it is from somewhere on the top. There are a few places you can open it. One of them is the bleeding screew. It is tight, though. The manuals I have is only dealing with the injector pump as one unit. There is no exploded drawing indicating where there might be a damaged seal. Does anybody have a clue what it might be and how I can stop it?

Cheers, Knulp

I would't take an injection pump apart unless you really knew what you are doing, for that reason might be why I've not seen any diagrams.

I took my pump to be checked to a specialist deisel workshop to have it checked and re-built.

I think there is a seal near where the injector pipes come out, but can't be sure.

second that. But if you do decide to play, the normal recommendation is to assemble it in a bath of clean diesel. I'd recommend impervious gloves (surgical type ones are good) for this, and maybe barrier cream too - diesel's none too good for you.
