should have, I think. It might need a bit of photoshopping.

'ere, that reminds me of a thought.

how many of you lot would buy an illuminated LED LR green oval badge, and how much would you pay for such?

I reckon it should be possible to make such a thing...

the one I have seems to be 202x100. it's a photo of a badge, and has some reflection on it, but could no doubt be tidied up.

Hi Mark,

I've got an official one released by Land Rover PR a little while back. Actually, my web designer has it. When she gets out of bed I'll ask her....

Might be quite a sizeable file - we used it to print 300dpi at about 4 inches wide.

that sounds ideal, the one I ended up with is good enough but only just, would rather have a higher-res. email to: markvarley at gmail.com that's my address for big files.

hmmm. dunno if they could be made for a fiver. To do a decent job it'd need quite a few (albeit small) leds, and probably a dedicated circuit board etching. Mind, I know a chap who works for an electronics place, who have the facilities for that bit...

What's up with just having a sidelight bulb behind a clear lens with the logo inside on semi-transparent sticker? The expensive bit is getting a plastic lens injection moulded to the right shape.

Might be a bit deep I suppose....

A bulb would fade the logo due to hear would it not?

Memories of the old illuminated Wolseley (or was it Riley?) radiator badges of days long gone. I must be getting old ;-)

seems popular now for the truckies have illuminates LED badges saying SCANIA and the like - I thought a LR one would be nice. Have to look into it, but I suspect it'll work out quite pricey to get decent results.
