Looking for Land Rover photos (+Rangie, Disco, Freebie, Specials, etc)

Hi all,

A few years ago now, I owned a Series III FFR, and put some web pages up describing repairs, providing 24V circuit diagrams, etc. I since moved country and was forced to sell the FFR, but I kept the pages up incase they were of use to anyone. It appears they were, as they continue to get a lot of 'hits'.

In the past few months I decided to extend my Land Rover webpages to add a Land Rover History. I have added a timeline, and have just started on individual pages. Eg. a Page for the Series 1, a Page for the 101, etc, etc.

I have access to most of the required information, and feel confident about getting the missing information. My problem is that I am short of photos with a suitable copyright.

Does anyone have any scanned photos that I can use? I will give full credits for each photo, and can include a weblink with the credit. (ie. this would be a good way for other site owners to bump up their search engine rankings!).

I'm basically after pictures of all the main types. S1 80, 107; SII,SIII, 101, Lwt, FC IIA/B, etc. Military var, Stage 1, Defenders, Rangies (var.), Discos (var.), etc.

Also special projects - both from Land Rover's Special Projects division, and third party 'specials' - ideally with a a few words describing what it is or was for. (I was planning for this page to be an eclectic collection of vehicles)

At the moment I haven't added pages for Santanas and Minervas, but could add them if information and pictures become available.

You have missed out the 1980's one-ten and ninety. I have a 1984 110 csw, fairly standard.

I usually charged a fixed fee for photographic licencing (I'm a photographer professionally) but I'll do some with a free-to-use licence in this case, being a 'land rover' thing.

Sorry yes. Try snipped-for-privacy@nospam.winwaed.com (remove nospam - and if the spammers do in a few months, I can always discard the email)

Thanks for the picture!

Thanks Mark. I can add a link to your webpage - so it would be like a little bit of advertising.

The "etc" was a fairly big one, and I guess I was thinking of the 90 &

110 as being under 'Defender'.

Email I'm giving out: snipped-for-privacy@nospam.winwaed.com

Thanks Paul. I've used one of the Disco pictures. I've put the credit to "Losi Paul". Is that correct? If not, what should I use?

I'm after views of the vehicles rather than (mis-)adventures for these pages - so thanks for the offer, but I don't need the rescue attempt.

[my main pages include a rescue of my FFR from a ditch with a forklift, using a tractor as an anchor!]

Cheers,

Richard
