Heard on Radio2 at about 2.30pm today - A gang used a Land Rover to rip a cash machine from a wall in Bicester, East Sussex today. Police spokesman said they got away with a 'substantial' amount. I'd like to know what kind of Land Rover? Did they use a winch? What tyres did it have? Would anyone else like to have a go? I'm game if you are!!! (Just kidding officer!!!)

No doubt the police alerted local petrol stations to be on the look out for Landrover owners who fill up without that look of dispair whilst handing over used notes..... They are bound to be rumbled.

A few years ago I was working the security on a place that was ram-raided with a defender 90, bull bars and all, though the bull bars folded quite badly in impact.

I remember a few years ago, we had an attempted ram raid at work. They tried to drive through the roller shutter into our goods inwards area. Unfortunately for them, a certain somebody had parked our fork-lift about 2" from the door. All 6,000 Kgs of it!!! You can guess the outcome....bits of Range Rover all over the yard. It was funny watching the CCTV the morning after, anyway.
