OT : ish Recycling costs

Just seen a news scare in Mail telling us we will have to pay to visit the tip as well as putting out rubbish ! I wonder how much the councils have set aside for all the fly-tipping that will start to increase in volume :-))

Does that mean the next time a bit falls of my Defender I must make sure it is'nt traceable or do I blame Lode Lane for bad quality control ?

I routinely shred anything with my name or an indentifiable order number (e.g. barcode on a sticker or printed paper) to make sure my rubbish isn't identifiable as mine. The gimps at my local council will decide one day that they need more cash so will start slapping fines on people for putting the wrong stuff in the wrong bins, while making it hard to get it right. Seems to have happened elsewhere, although it seems rare.

They'll trace the oil drips to your house and charge you £1 per drip!

Reason number 3 for owning a Land Rover. You can never get lost. To find your way home, follow the oil trail;-)

Reason number 1 being "It's never perfect, but it's very rarely completely broken"

Tciao for Now!
