My mate has just put an ex generator engine into his 1944 Willys after a struggle. The trouble is that despite checking to see that the engine turned over freely one exhaust valve was seized open from 50 odd years lack of use.
In freeing the valve he has damaged the valve seat in the block so is looking for a manual valve seat cutter. I've asked on another group but these once familiar tools seem to have disappeared apart from 1 Ozzie item on ebay. Apart from making a simple flycutter has anyone any ideas? He very much wants to avoid taking the engine out.
