It was. I loved the radio operators chair still in the back!
I had to move some large water butts so did the same once. Fabulous summers day, very warm. Most fun, till we hit a freak 1/2mile square thunderstorm and got completely soaked. Neighbours looked at us most strange because it was such a contained storm that most people wouldn't have seen anything but wonderful sunshine.

Excellent... May well be up for that. Am going to Gaydon the weekend after though so does of course depend on getting two weekend release passes in a row ;-)

I had similar once in a friend's series 2, we were tootling along sans roof when it started to rain a bit, so he just sped up a bit and the rain just went over our heads. We stopped after a while to put the canvas up, and got rather strange looks as he was dressed in country gent clothes chuffing away on a pipe, and I was dressed in wartime RAF gear smoking a big cigar... We'd just come back from Goodwood Revival!
