Indeed I have Trevor, it's sat out there right now after having been used to cart bits of a vehicle lift back home, canvas top now and very much scruffier than when you last saw it due to a few light knocks while laning coupled with my knack for pulling bits of trim off to get to something underneath and never bothering to put the trim back on. It's looking a little forlorn right now as a rear tyre went down after the trip and it thinks I've not noticed! Silly creature, I'll give it some pampering in a bit, I need to pick up a generator on Tuesday so if it thinks I can't get by without it for more than a few days it's very wrong.
It cost me a grand recently for a full service, cam-belt change and the front brakes de-sticking, the rears are still pulling a little so that needs sorting. Mechanics reckon it's in good condition underneath, not much in the way of oil leaks and the engine hardly uses any oil either. It's the vehicle I've had for the longest period of time, the one that's done the most miles, and the only one that's never let me down other than when I've done something stupid (serpentine belt broke due to missed service).
Once the money picks up and the plastic rocket is on the road again I'll be buying a companion for it, an early 80" series 1.
So how many of your herd of landies are still with you? Did the yellow monster survive the mid-windscreen-level ducking that I have a picture of somewhere?
