I have just crumpled the rear drivers side on a 1990 110 3.5 V8 CSW. Now the fuse for the left side lights keeps popping. Where is the wiring harness routed, or is the dent a little bit of a red herring?

Runs down to the os chassis thro a grommet in the wheel arch panel, behind the plate covering the lights.
The wiring for the left side runs along the top of the cross-member, having come off the loom on the right.
Clearly you have a short somewhere in there.

It turned out to be the front side light.
