Thought I'd seen everything

Got a leaflet shoved through my door offering a free sightseeing trip of London in a Hummer Limo of all things.

A Hummer Limo ? never mind this free trip actually would involve eating a lot of pizza to collect the tokens, I wonder what Red Ken and the anti SUV brigade make of it all. What possible justification is there for a superstretched Hummer, I'd far rather be entertained in a converted bus.

Incedentally if anyone wonders what they look like I have googled one up

I think it's garaged just down the road here, certainly seen the back end of a very stretched white 4x4 and thought at the time what Red Ken (joke!) would say. He'd probably prefer others to use

looks quite good.

A poor men 's Hummer (H2) A real pity. Should have been a real (H) one...... Kind regards, Erik-Jan.

There were some real Hummer stretches done, but the H2 is easier to stretch as it's based on some GM 4x4 truck/suv, which no doubt have already been stretched.

Just goes to show how stupid americans are, GM are selling a normal

4x4 truck dressed up to look like a Hummer, and the yanks are too thick to tell the difference between it and the real thing. I can't remember which it's based on at the moment.

In news: snipped-for-privacy@individual.net, Larry decided to enlighten our sheltered souls with a rant as follows

Um, I drive one.

I also drive a stretched Ford Excursion.

They *are* as awful to drive as they look, although the Excursion is much better than the Hummer.

I'm semi-reminded of the various kit-cars which resemble something else. Though they don't get mass-marketed by a company such as GM. And a Jaguar engine, transmission, and axles under a fake C-Type body shell isn't the same sort of lie.

Chevy Tahoe. The new Hummer H3 is a Chevy Colorado in disguise... Pathetic!
