Just had new tyres fitted to the rear of our 1989 RR (235/70 16 jobs) Previous ones were Goodyear GT4s and the new ones are BF Goodrich Macadams (they were supposed to be Michelin Synchros but the tyre place fecked up and got in 265/70s which, when you really, really, urgently need 235/70s is no good...)
Anyway both makes of tyre are a road pattern and were/are inflated to 35psi. Towing today for the first time on the new ones I find that the horse trailer is snaking a little and the whole outfit feels a bit less stable than before.
Any ideas?
My thoughts are to swap the front (Michelins) with the rear (BFGoodrich) to see if that helps but I think I read somewhere that this is a no-no with the RR and Disco??
