What's it wurf guv? '98 Disco ES TDi Auto

Any ideas? The vehicle is a daily runner and has garage FSH from new !! 185,000 miles and can still cruise at 90 mph all day. Always passes MOT with a little welding on rear wheel arches. Usual holes in places and water leaking through sun-roof draines etc. Rear diff is a bit on the noisy side but it doesn't drip or leak any fluids. ABS light has been on for about 4 yeas but ABS works fine and MOT let it pass. :¬) Still does around 400 miles on 80 litres regardless. What more can I say. It's had a pretty easy life and always mechanically kept sorted. Even the turbo still doesn't whistle.

So, what's it good for? Only selling it as after 10 years (2 owners from new) we need a Van for the shop and our kid is fed-up of getting dribbled on on the way to school in the rain. :¬)

Cheers Pete

What's it worth? whatever someone will pay for it in today's market

Chum sold a 98 300Tdi that was tidy for =A3900 in the last few months - and that was after last resorting to eblag cos there were no takers.

Si

I think it will no doubt end up on e-bay. It was written off with regards to the tax-man's residual value a fair while ago so whatever it gets us can go to 'er-indoors "furniture for the cottage" fund.

I was thinking somewhere around the £1K mark.

If anyone want's to come check it out it's always parked outside our shop just off the M5 J18 but won't be ready to leave home until a suitable van has been sourced and in action.

Thanks for the reply. Cheers Pete

Oh, it's a disco 1?

Christ, you'll be lucky to get £750-£1000

:¬) Been hoping someone would drive into it for the last 4 years and write it off. Bugger just keeps going.
