My 2000 RX300 is coming up on 90,000 miles. My dealer recommends a transmission fluid change. Is this something I can do myself? I change my own oil and brake pads. Should I do just a drain and fill or a complete fluid repacement? Thanks.

You can do it yourself, it's easy. But you should change the tranny filter while your there.

I always have a complete fluid replacement. In my '94 es300 it takes something like 17 quarts to finish the job. I figure if I treat it right , it'll treat me right. 200k miles so far.
