Guys, I have noticed twice now had car 2 months, when going up hill in low gear 1st,2nd it has started to jump as if I am going on and off with gas pedal quickly, once I change gear or lift right off gas it goes away
Any Ideas, I expect I need to VAG Com it?
Other than that engine is perfect , no smoke and power seems fine
high miles though (110K) so maybe something is getting worn?
Has this engine had new injectors? They have lifespan of about 70-80k. If your's are original then prepare yourself for a goodly sized bill.
This kind of kangeroo-ing at low speed and low load is a sign of warn injectors.
You may want to start by checking other (cheaper) soources of problems, first is the EGR valve, which tend to block with carbon and stick open (especially if oil changes havent been too rigourous) and secondly air mass meters are a known problem- but this usually causes lack of power.
