Neil Kinnock's Sierra mysteriously took off in the air and flipped over.

It was a little bit higher up; Audi revised the 100 in '83 or '84 with flush fitting windows and different mirrors to lower the Cd.

When the Sierra was introduced it was the first car that was considered affordable to many, which offered clean aerodynamics.

Anybody else remember how "economy gauges" suddenly became standard equipment? :)

That one was at least a consistent design idea. But Ford spoiled it for Mark II by straightening out the windows and putting in creases here and there.
