AdBlue buying, storing and dispensing questions

Now that my wife has gone and bought a car that uses AbBlue I'm wondering about the cheapest/easiest way of topping up the tank.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that part-used containers shouldn't be stored which sounds like bollocks to me but maybe it does go off when exposed to air? Given that the tank holds about 8L and will probably get topped up before it's empty, that's gonna mean chucking at least 2L of AdBlue at every top-up. Seems wasteful.

What do other folk do?

Urea is stable in aqueous solutions. Keep the lid on to prevent air ingress, but I don't see any need to throuw it away.

If you're worried about it, you could buy one of those camping collapsible containers. Then it would shrink to match whatever liquid you have left.
