As title really. I don't want to go over to a replacement mixture as they all seem to have problems. R12 can still be got in the states (although very dear) but I can't get anyone to ship me some.

I'd suggest ringing around the a/c Co's in Yellow Pages. AFAIK it is still legal to use reclaimed R12 in the UK, so it's just a question of finding your nearest supplier. Mike.
