Just wondered if these tyres were any good as I have been offered a pair at a reasonable price to replace my old worn out ones.

My Dad has a set on an XJ6. Seem pretty grippy.
I had some on the 405 - they did grip pretty well. Lasted about the same as any others.

Had a set on my 740. Quite impressed me actually, both in grip and longevity.
Had a set of new Nankangs on my 5-series Touring. Not bad at all in both grip and life. When I saw these were fitted when I bought the car in summer, I was fully expecting them to be s**te come the wet weather of autumn. I was very surprised. They behaved just as well as the Avons or Pirellis I'd had on my previous 5-series. For the record, these were 225/60/15 96V and the receipt was for £158.00+vat for all four fitted. JB
For a budget brand they have a bery good rep.
Nankang ditchfinders !!! bloody useless on my MR2 Turbo - but that needed to get 250 horses on the road with the weight of an anorexic stick insect to push it down !!! ah I miss that car :-)
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember "skint" saying something like:
Not great, but not total shit. As a budget tyre they work ok.
I've got a set on my 2.5v6 omega estate and they are great. Only losing grip in the wetest and most self provoked conditions. £88 ish for a pair of 225
