The problem i have is that my windscreen wipers stop anywhere on my windscreen and wont go back to there resting point when i switch them off.. when i put them on they are very slow and judder on the first setting and the other settings they are fine to swipe the windscreen but when i turn them off they will stop anywhere, not instantly but after a few seconds and at different points of the windscreen.. any help would be greatful.

this seems to be a problem on the mk4. i have the same with mine, its the switch in the motor, only fix seems to be replaceing the wiper motor.
