On a 54 Astra 1.6 SXI, just behind the battery is a small box with two relays
My question is are the relays interchangeable, they are both 32A 12V, but different sizes

Check the pin configuration - the terminals should be numbered. If the terminal numbering and position are the same, then interchanging them should be OK, but is not recommended.
What colour are they?

These are fuel injection system relays. Interchanging them should be OK.

Silly question but why would you want to touch them let alone swap them?
