Audi 100 Driveshaft Bolts ?

Dec 18, 2004 3 Replies

Bit of a silly question, need to remove the driveshaft from my '100, inner tripod joint is held onto the gearbox by 6 bolts, initially I thought torx headed, but they look like 12 pointed torx, or something . . . anybody know if this is a special tool, or if something easily available what its called ?

TIA

The tools are known as XZN bits

googling gives

formatting link
for example. Any Draper stockist should have them or be able to get them.
