Yeah but it's worth it. And there's a pub next door too. And a duckpond to go iceskating on.

If you bring a RWD, you can sit there all day doing donuts at the road junction next to the pub.

No it's not grim at all. It's always lovely up here, in one way or another. The snow has been falling all morning, but the temperature has risen a bit, so I fear it's going to turn wet and messy.

I haven't been out today, but I would expect the main roads will be fairly clear, though there has been a bit of a breeze at times so there could be minor drifting. The general snow depth is not much, but then it doesn't take much to upset some folk. I'm not including you in that category of course. :-)

Just been getting on with a bit of a "Shit life" syndrome ATM.

Quit smoking in the summer, ended up on Anti depressants by October, thought I had straightened my head since, but feeling realy crap. Also, put a bit too much weight on before, but went on a weeks all inlcusive for the Mrs's 30th. Managed to put on another stone in a week.

Then comes the Xmas excess. Can't even be arsed to drink, go the pub, or eat the shit we have bought in already.

Now there's a man with the right idea.

It's where people are so arrogant they thin all the best chippies are there. The best chippy in the world, ever used to be in North Derbyshire. Sadly it is gone. Second best was in Surrey it's gone too. Manchester has the unique combination of the very best and the very worst.
