thinking of buying a vauxhall vectra would appreciate anyone giving me hints on what I should be looking for. Thinking of diesel is this a good thing??

Mondeo sized car, Vauxhall badge, typically says, "Vectra" on the back? :)
Right, well first off, what generation, how much, and which diesel version?
There are quite significant differences between the various models, you see, and if you're wanting to buy new, the advice will probably be a resounding "noooooooo....."
........although it's only in new (or very nearly new) Vectras that you will find the decent Euro4 diesel engines.
