I need another shedde but it needs to be up to farm use and to long drives (1000 miles plus) at the end of which it needs to climb an unpaved mountain road and be capable of occasional towing and running a few hundred kilos of farm produce to the mill.
I saw a Mitsubishi Shogun Sport 2003, recently, low mileage and seems to tick most of the boxes, but...
Rear fog light (N/S) smashed, lens and reflector. O/SR wheel arch cracked, mudflap held on with wood screws. Engine management light on with a code indicating "heater bank failure". Rear tyres only just legal.
Owner wants £4K. I said I thought that was a lot considering I could see at least £400 of repairs there.
Anyone know of the expected price range for these? Despite the faults the rest of it seemed OK but I'd expect to pay closer to £2600 for it.
The intention is to get it converted to LPG.
I must say that after the statutory 24 hours to think about it my feeling is leading towards "run away".
