Can anyone identify my carb?

Spent ages on the phone to the UK's main supplier of Weber replacementcarbs today, only to be told that what I think I have isn't possible. (Ireckon I have a MkI Scirocco lump in the Golf, but the MkI Scirocco hasa longitudinal engine, rather than transverse)So, I've taken some snaps, and put them online - hopefully someone canidentify it for me: reckon I have a Zenith 2B2 or 2B5 carb...... however, I'm told it'smore likely to be a 2E2..... but it's stamped 2B......Someone must be able to tell me what it is!Cheers,
